Born in Salzburg in 1992, Elena grew up in a family of pianists. After two years of piano classes, Elena discovered her passion for the violin and switched instruments. Due to her extraordinary talent she was accepted for the class for highly talented children at the Universität Mozarteum at the age of only six. Elena was fortunate to be taught from an early age by some of the best teachers in the world such as Helmut Zehetmair, Igor Petrushevski and Victor Dernovski, a former student of Leonid Kogan.

Concert tours have taken her to major halls in the Americas, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland, Germany and Denmark. She has performed as a soloist with renowed orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, Armenian State Youth Orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Junge Philharmonie Salzburg.

Elena recently made her Debut with Vladimir Jurowski and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Prokofiev´s first violin concerto which brought much critical acclaim.

Elena has performed at numerous prestigious festivals and venues including Großes Festspielhaus/Salzburg, Beethovenhalle/Bonn, Grosser Saal/Salzburg, Smetana Hall/Prague, Victoria Hall/Geneva, KKL/Lucerne, Gstaad Festival, Centro Cultural Kirchner/Buenos Aires, Casino/Basel, Beethoven Festival/Warsaw and the opening sponsor concert of the Salzburg Festival- televised by ORF.

Musicians she has worked with include Maxim Vengerov, Fazil Say, Tibor Kovac, Frantisek Janoska, Olga Sitkovetsky and Sasha Sitkovetsky.

Elena is currently performing on a J.B. Guadagnini violin, generously on loan from a private collector.
